I never hear warnings not to cut trees/hedgerows in nesting season - I'm going to email RSPB ...

    Since we have Red Kites, cats prefer to stay inside and go only out at night when birds sleep on their trees.

      I understand that these rules have been carried over post Brexit.

      For gardeners the law prohibits disturbing nesting birds.

        I think this rule is not well known. In fact I didn’t know it applied to everyone, although it definitely does to farmers.
