I must say after some of the comments that have been made i am feeling slightly guilty, even though it was not me that approached him. :(

To be fair though from what has been said up the plots today i dont think he would have given his up and every one else was quite happily using it for him, (and laughing at him behind his back :nono: he was described as nieve and simple and that was when they were being polite )

i think he would have just carried on and kept hoping for the best

so the next dilema is........ if people think i have jumped the queue and cheated does that mean i cant ask advice here

Educate each other and learn that presents come in a variety of ways.

Keep the plot and his excuse for learning, that way you both get the best veggies for no cost to you.

Of course you can ask for advice on here. Just be careful you are not jeapordising your own standing on the waiting list, though.

so i have been to the parish council and told them that i am helping out on the plot (fully expected to be told BANNED and removal of list) she phoned Ray (plot holders name) who confirmed that i was helping him, i had to sign some paper work to say that i had a key for the plot, they said it wouldnt affect my place on the waiting list, unless Ray chooses to give up his plot and then i would inherit it as i would have worked it (this would only apply if i have worked the plot for a min of two years)

so i can relax a little bit now :D

well i thought i would do a little update,
so nearly all of the plot has been planted, i am still fighting the endless battle with the bind weed
The guy that officailly has the plot has hardly been near in 3 months i havent seen him at all in this time and the other plot holders say they see him just "Visiting" now and again but never do anything,
so i dont really know what his plans are other than turn up for the pickings when the crops are ready
when i go up next i will take some pictures of the sorta progress i have been slowly making, at least now i Know now that it is down to just me to work the whole plot hopefully if i am still up here next year things will be better organised

 

When he turns up, just pretend not to know him & start screaming.
