I lose just about anything that I put into my shed - I had great plans for it all to be organised when I built the shed, and it never really happened; now its became very much second fiddle to the greenhouse, and its a right mess. I'm on annual leave in a couple of weeks, and one of my first jobs is to gut the shed out and do a few dump runs.

Have you tried writing to Fiskars, Zigs? Might be worth a note to them, you never know. My, albeit, limited experience of the company is that they are pretty good with customer service and I'm fairly sure they would appreciate your feedback: if they don't know of a problem, they won't know it needs sorting ;)

A friend of mine once lost his favourite pair of jeans. He turned the flat upside down, tried to remember any occasion where he might have left the jeans behind (in our 20s there actually were those occasions ... bless... ) but the jeans stayed lost.

The next summer he cleared his freezer for a new batch of berries- and found the jeans. He had sat on chewing gum and on his mother's advise put the jeans into freezer so that the gum would neatly peel off (which it did).

The morale- when something is lost, check the freezer. I have actually found surprising things in there, usually connected to quick ice cream manoeuvers. Spoons are the usual findings, but I have also found my keys and once my phone. :)
