They are beautiful LoL, they make a very graceful tree. The seeds you sent haven't germinated yet but I await with anticipation [IMG]

I could have popped some more in the envelope I sent you today. Keep me posted and let me know if you need more ... this is the smaller of the two trees and the other one is heaving with pods also!

Gorgeous! Remember how small it was just a few years ago, and now look at it in all it's glory. I bet that in 2-3 years I can say the same again! I do believe that it is one of the lovliest trees anywhere.

Absolutely agree Kedi-Gato, it's my favourite too.

LoL, the seeds have only been in for a week, so there is plenty of time, thanks for offering. [IMG] I will let you know what happens.
I was amazed at the Albizia though at only 4 days, and I think they are going to be a very high percent germination rate too. [IMG]

Just took this ... after the rains today, the Jacaranda is short of a few blooms ...

The ones taken on the 11th with the green background look especially pretty.

The one on the 14th, Pebbles & Petals, has a certain charm about it.

Oh, these new pics popped up just as I sent the above reply off. The third one is gorgeous with the purple and green and the blue sky and white clouds peeking through. Last but not least, a few decorations in the form of seed pods. If you look closely, it appears as if the nearest flowers are in 3D!

Thank you, big Sis! We almost did it minute for minute again! :D I wondered why you hadn't mentioned the new pics.

Yes, I like the carpeted pebble path, but it would have been nice had I ... 1) had NOTICED the builders' hoses when I took the picture or 2) cropped the hoses out of the picture! [IMG]

You were the first one to see my Jacarandas bloom a couple of years ago and look at them now! [IMG]

Didn't I send you copies of the Jacarandas some years ago? If not, Hubby must scan ours down to you to put up so everyone else can see how they have grown in such a short time.

Oh, sorry, pete, missed you there ... I must have been typing as you were posting.

They are one of my favourites. But then again, I have so many favourites!

T'other half and I were just saying (as we were eating dinner almost under the one pictured above) how fast they grow. We bought two at the same time, each perhaps five foot tall with little chimney sweep heads on top, maybe three years old? That was nine years ago and this little one is give or take 20 foot tall and the other 30 foot ... it's in soil, the little one in rock.

On one occasion years ago (about 1999/2000) one lot of builders re-tiling our roof set fire to the little one (God only knows how) so we came over to a very sad little Jak ... it was definitely a chimney sweep's brush! But just look at him now! [IMG]
