    Hi All,

What can I use to connect two pieces of the same kind of hose together to make a longer length so I can water the bottom of the garden? Even the Elderberry trees are struggling in this weather.

    Thanks :)

Fern the tap end is where the hose connects to your outside tap . Usually a Hozelock type quick connector, as photo.
If your connection is permanent the Wickes connector MisterQ suggested is perfect :blue thumb:

All the above stuff (apart from mrq's post) seems rather expensive.

I saw a fitting to connect the ends of 2 hosepipes for only 50p in the gardening aisle of my local Tesco this morning.

I seem to remember getting away with a short length of copper pipe and a couple of jubilee clips many years ago.
Not easy to take apart though.

I have used plastic barbed hose connectors , connect hose and use 2 jubilee clips . The ones I found on Ebay seem more expensive than the Wilko connecctor.

@BigC I'll see whether I can pick you up a spare one when I'm next sneaking strolling around the garden at Buck House.
