My Jack Frost not happy! What happened?

My first ever Jack Frost thrived originally but look at it now! As its supposed to be frost hardy I'm really disappointed plus it was quite expensive too. Any help or advise would be much appreciated. TIA

 

What is it/was it.

 

We have a few Brunnera Jack Frost in the ground and this time of year there is only dead foilage visible which we leave alone as its protecting the crown of the plant.
Would not expect to see any regrowth until March onwards depending on the weather.

Your plant looks rather weak and drawn, and possibly a little dry, wonder if you have been sheltering it too much ?
Perhaps just leave it outside and let nature do its thing.

All our plants came from divisions of the original we bought on site from this out of the way little nursery near Halifax a few years ago, not that expensive if we remember rightly.

I would re pot in Early March in to a bigger pot and make sure you water during in the summer etc ... some plants don't do well in a pot ok for a while then loose the vigour ...

A Jack Frost as per my post I followed the advise on the forum and it has come back

 

Have you planted it out into the garden soil , now would be good?

When doing so we generally add a small handfull for Fish Blood & Bone and a few handfulls of compost and or Westland Farmyard manure into the planting hole and mix or if planted already you could just add the same around the plant but avoid it getting directly onto the foliage.

I haven't planted it out yet but thinking about it so thanks for the tips. My nickname is actually from an old Monty Python sketch but Eddy in Abfab was Edwina (same as me) but dropped the W to become Edina I might record 'Patsy' but funnily enough one of my girlfriends is actually called Patsy
