I moved to this bungalow around 2 years ago . I was moved here because of ill health and becoming a pensioner. The garden is very big and the previous Tenant had not used it at all.

My main problem is lack of cash , lack of ' willing' hands to help get it up together. Saying that, I have just had a friend make up 2 large raised beds ( bless him). He too suffers with his back and can only help out occasionally. I am very lucky, is so far as it backs on to the hop fields and I am not overlooked by anyone. The garden is very uneven and filled with ' humps' and so I have to come up with a few plans on how to utilise these. I fully intend to post pictures of the work in progress. Thanks

What a wonderful mature garden and the soil looks good too. Hope you can find someone to help share the hard graft with GG. Someone who enjoys gardening. Maybe - in return for some of the produce that you can grow?

Looking very good GG! You don't need to get it all done at once, just keep chipping away at it, little and often.

Those raised bed must be the ones you mentioned on the compost thread. They look pretty good to me, full of nice looking compost, your new plantings will do really well I'm sure.

          Keep us posted :)
