New lawn, some advice please

    Thanks for the great advice as always. I was trying out the new mower so have been going down a level each time. It’s certainly still cold enough up in Scotland at this point so I’ll leave the feeding for now.

    Hi Terry,

    Nothing I can add about lawns (I use a big Hayter 56 that I've had for 20+ years with no trouble but it's too big for your lawn) but a comment about your Indian Sandstone paving.

    It's a soft sandstone and prone, over time, to get mould and algae. Getting rid of it, apart from pressure hosing, has been discussed a number of times on here. Here's a link to a recent thread.

      Glad you like the mower. Battery technology is moving quickly.
      No more fuel, servicing, smells and loud noise :)

      Thanks for the link, it was only put down towards the end of last summer so this is something on my list to make sure it’s kept in good condition moving forward
