Petrol Scarifier buying advice

    I'm sure @Liz the pot will know better but it seems to me that if your lawn is 60ft x 15ft it may be worth getting a quote from a local person who does lawn upkeep. You may find it not worth the bother of buying a machine if they are cheap enough. Some of the people that just do that job, as a franchise, are fairly reasonably priced.

      Pretty spot on to be honest. There’s hiring one too which is the best way to go if you want to get yours hands dirty and give it a go.
      After all it’s used once or twice a year for an hour each time.

        I may look into hiring one. I’m based in Liverpool, so there should be plenty of places I can hire one.

          I'd just buy a lidl/aldi one. £70 ish, 3 year warranty.

          Found a Hayter SP36 £295. With £50 delivery. In excellent almost new condition. No damage whatsoever.
