Plant pot paint?

The stone effect is wicked,like a very coarse metalic,even fells like stone.

I used acrylic paint to paint the bottom of a stainless steel tray. (Don't ask - some art school project or other) This was in the mid 90s. The paint is still there after regular use and numerous washes, albeit a bit scratched. So I think it would stay on a plastic pot for a few seasons.
