Our club discussed our upcoming plant sale at its last meeting, I said that I knew a forum where it's members where as keen as mustard with pricing of various gardening items. I was asked to find out if I could as my question in the first post and to take that info back to our club.

I shall also take all recommendations back to them, so thank you all very much. Scrungee, thank you for your very detailed/extensive pricing info.

    Steve...:)

We are just doing simple stuff this year Scrungee Toms Cucs and courgettes, multipacks of some veg and a few flowers. There are a few of us who have sown extra seeds of what we where going to sow anyway and potted excess on into packs.

We'll take a view on the response to the sale and plan for next year if demand is there.

        Many thanks!

        Steve...:)

One of the allotments round here have an open day each year where visitors can look around and chat to the holders. They also have a large plant stall and raise a reasonable amount of money to help fund things needed by all the holders. They had one standpipe for water and were able to fund extending it to separate areas of the allotments.
