    Great model Marley.

I wonder if anyone ever made a RC Harrier?

pete; the Harrier is more or less 100% British, the americans bult their own versions of it for their use but we still made many of the components for them. Sadly our remaining Harrier fleet is due to go out of service in 2018 or could be sooner depending on the Defence cuts. Maybe you're thinking of it's replacement the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) which is mostly american, we are only making a few things for that over here.

No I was thinking of way back when the US Marines bought the plane from the UK, I was under the impression most of the development that went on after that date was carried out by them.
Or at least they had a lot of input.

Probably wrong then, but it tends to look a different plane these days.

As with most things these days if we come up with a new design, by the time we get it off the drawing board its old fashioned, but we plough on spending money until finally a new government scraps it.
Not a new phenomenon remember the TSR2, that was the beginning of our modern aircraft manufacture.

Its a sorry state from the good old 50s when we just got on a built it.:(:)
