    Hi everyone,

I have received today the latest catalogue from my local garden centre and they suggest pairing lavendar with santolina rosmarinifolia claiming that the 'drifts of yellow and purple will be covered in bees and butterflies all summer.' However, I can find no confirmation anywhere else that santoline is in fact bee-friendly. I am looking for a low-growing bee-friendly yellow flower to complement my lavendar and this would be ideal. Can anybody confirm its bee-friendly status or otherwise?!

    Thanks,

    Phil.

I have one in my garden which definitely attracts hover flies.
