              @Victoria do the Datura bloom profusely in your climate? I had a couple of plants last year (from seed) and although they got to a good size, they only produced maybe 4-5 flowers each. I still have seeds to start again but was hesitating because of the dismal results I had last summer.

              Edit; and the flowers were fairly short lived.

                @Canadian Lori Yes, they can flower profusely here but not so in our hottest months and they don't like hot mid day sun which is why I keep mine in filtered sun. Sadly they are all one day wonders. In my mind Brugmansias/Iocromas/Daturas are treated the same as Hibiscus rosa-sinensis.
