@Balc and @CarolineL , you're both lucky I had a look in ours yesterday absolutely no sign of anything garden related at all. Unusual as they normally have a range of bulbs at this time of year.
Just overflowing with Halloween and tacky Christmas items.

I suppose you do know @Victoria that you have to soak them first before you use them? I have some on the balcony railings that have been going for years! They are very rarely empty as I change the plants in them twice a year.

I have never done so in the past but they sure got a soaking yesterday!

I have a week off, £20 Dobbies giftcard and a burning need for some winter delight plants for the doorstep.

Heavy duty large, full metal birdfeeder. I'm quite happy with this.

                            birdfeeder.jpg

Delosperma Echinatum I have been lusting after for a while- overpriced at £12.99 but I consider it my birthday present. :)
                            delosperma.jpg

Phlebodium Aureum Blue Star, my previous plant totally overgrew it's space (this is a large fern) and keeled over when I chopped it in two. £0.89 for a replacement is quite reasonable.

The metal bucket is a fire bucket for the Degus. Cage safety comes first!

                            fern.jpg

Plus the main reason for the trip, a sixpack of purple violas. :)

I had a lovely collection which I brought over here. Very few have survived the rigours of winter wet and storms. The latest casualty is an AliBaba pot by the front door which blew over during Ciaran. It hasn't actually disintegrated, so I've wrapped it in packing tape  My two beloved Whichford Pottery ones seem to be the most resistant to damage, which justifies their eye-watering price :phew: As for the elegant, tall, B&Q lily pots.....pfffft. Crocks :roflol:
