Thanks @CanadianLori I have a small wooden growhouse too but the plants seem a lot perkier in this and they've only been in there since yesterday. The light is much better as you say.

I have enough plants for them both :spinning:

This week I am covering a shift that has proper lunch break near a conveniently places Morrison's. I found the HF Young Clematis I had been looking for and then I picked up a few sorry looking specimens I am hoping I can do something with.

The lonicera red tips needs some TLC. Any help would be appreciated. It o my cost me 75p so I won't t be too upset if I lose it.

I kept looking for it. I hadn't seen one until today. Recently I bought the president as a back up. Now I have a clematis spare.

I bought the lonicera on a whim. As thing stand at the moment, there is nowhere in the garden for it to live. I bought it knowing that if I couldn't fit it in I could always pass it on.

Sorry, missed the lonicera bit .....trim it back to healthy shoots; also aids density. I would also check rootball. I would repot after soaking it for a while and loosening any tight roots:)

I seem to have accumulated a lot of plants over the last few days.

The first plant I got was a delphinium from Morisons. There is no way of knowing which variety it is but I'm sure it will be very nice.

The next plant is a lonicera copper beauty I bought from Amazon. It was a decent price so I thought I might as well go for it. It arrived today.

Today it was raining so I had a walk around a local garden centre. I picked up an alstroemeria Miss Christine and a white shades hanging basket.

That should be enough planting to keep me busy for a little while.

Bought quite a few plants from Chatsworth, including a lovely blown glass bowl that fits perfectly over the wooden stand. In it are “air plants” that don’t need to be planted. I also bought some more airplants and made my own display with a spare glass bowl I had.

Also got some box balls cheap from a garden trade outlet place just off the A1 on my way home this morning.

oooo... if you get bored with the carnivorous plants and the Tillandsias, you can send them to me, I'll look after them. It's no trouble at all, please don't hesitate!

Heavy rain again today so made a trip to toolstation and got some sockets for the greenhouse, so if the forecast of rain all week is right I can at least get something useful done.

I need to go to tool station. They have some metal log roll pins that I want to anchor down my kiddie swing.

I've given up my search for an AcerPalmatum Taylor and settled for a Shirazz, which is similar.
This is the actual one, which will come from Larch Cottage Nurseries. They kindly sent me this photo of the one I've purchased. The delivery charge is a bit steep, but no matter. It's "a suitable case for treatment" as I can see I can train it over a few months, to conform to a more balanced shape.

It's destined for the empty ceramic pot on the patio in this picture.
