    Busybee, if you want to buy cornus, Jackson's Nurseries list a fair few, complete with helpful photos and growing hints! www.jacksonsnurseries.co.uk. I ordered from Jacksons for the first time a few weeks ago and found it very good and reasonably priced.

    I have seen some beautiful weeping crab apple trees - I am planning on getting one myself!

    My MIL has a small garden (terraced London house), and it looks a picture.

    She has Pieris, Hydrangea, Hebes, Fuschias, Bleeding Hearts, and then a few summer bedding plants to fill any gaps.

    O and dont forget a Photonia (Red Robin) and a Choisyea which look lovely all year round!!!
