The local playgroup chucked loads of stuff into a skip, we pulled it out and car booted it.

How wasteful of the playgroup, but I'm pleased you made good use of it @Scrungee, honestly the stuff in the skip at the tip was such nice stuff, barbie dolls in dresses, the car, horse, house & furniture, new monopoly game still in the plastic, boxes of Lego, books, videos...I couldn't believe my eyes & I was so cross because all of that could have & should have been left outside a charity shop & sold for funds for charity. I wasn't brought up to be wasteful & I get so mad about people being wasteful!.....I'm getting on my hobbyhorse again!! :heehee:

How come almost anything you do now in this country is deemed to be illegal by someone somewhere ?

You cant do that you cant do this.

How can it be deemed to be illegal to take something that someone has chosen to throw away ?

The problem with you is that you're trying to be logical! :noidea: :wallbanging: :heehee:

I'm not surprised they were thrown away.

              Barbie dolls are not PC.
              Cars pollute the air.
The idea of keeping a horse indoors is cruel.
Owning Houses and Furniture is a discouraged aspiration.
Monopoly is Capitalism gone mad (plastic wrapping is a non-recyclable waste of resources).
Lego is used for male type casting.
Books are not read any more and are a waste of a natural resource.
Videos are unwanted reflections of out of date technology.
               :loll:

Made me smile this post :snork:. Reminds me of the time my Uncle (who lives in a large City) hired a skip which was duly delivered on the appointed day. The next day when he got up to start throwing his junk into the skip - someone had beaten him to it - it was so full he couldn't get his stuff in. He was livid :lunapic 130165696578242 5:.
