Sowed my Loofah's today

    Soaked the seed for 2 hours in warm water, put them on some damp seed compost that had been warming by the fire for a few hours.

    Covered with vermiculite & then popped them into a cloche made from a 2 litre lemonade bottle.

    Trying to keep above 20c.

      Well i never.....I don't know how i thought Loofahs came about but i didn't know you could grow them.....:dbgrtmb:

      I worried an old girlfriend (a strict vegetarian) when she bought one from the Body shop.

      Pointed out that it had 3 fold symmetry, like Star Fishes & Echinoids have 5 fold symmetry, and was she sure it wasn't a dead animal?

      Oh, the days before Google:snork: She wasn't happy for a week.
