Spring Bulbs coming up early

    I planted out some botanical tulip bulbs yesterday and they were already sprouting in their packet. I can see snowdrops starting to appear which is exciting because I planted out about 150 in the green last year - can't wait to see how they do!

    I might be having daffodils on the table for New Year Lunch the way they are growing.

        I have snowdrop seeds sown in June all up. I save seed every year and this is the earliest I've seen ever.

            Although not a bulb, my bottlebrush is flowering and I have put Xmas lights on it. Never had that combination before.

            My bulbs in the greenhouse are coming up, which is a good thing as the mice won't be interested.

            Don't believe it about the mice. We used to find just bundles of leaves where the mice had eaten the crocus corm underneath.
