I use old loo rolls - cheap, biodegradable (just pop them in the soil with the young plants) 2-3 seeds to a roll. Also good for brassica family which like a long root run.

I always grew sweet peas in loo roll centres or newspaper rolls until I was given the root trainers.

Now I'm completely sold on them (no, I don't have an interest in them).

Other people who have tried them have made a point of thanking me for introducing them.

It takes a lot to impress a cynical old bark like me.

I wonder why you didn't have success with them Ladybird?

I've just cleared mine of pods and they are starting to flower again.

Can someone give me specific instructions for gathering and starting the seeds off again for next year?

    Thanks
