I missed this thread too. Big transformation which you've clearly enjoyed. Good ideas and hard work; you've made it your space in a short time. Well done.

If Saturday marked the 2nd anniversary of getting the keys, yesterday marked the day #1 son and I moved into this property for good (Mr "M" and #2 son followed a couple of weeks later).
With @Sheal's comments fresh in my mind ...
... we thought we'd detour to see our old home.
While I didn't do a huge amount on the front garden, I had made some changes and as that would be all we'd get to see ... well, why not. :dunno:
                  Not any more I don't :hate-shocked: Look what they've done :mute: ...

I did ask the nice man if I could have a brick  Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it but I'll do something.

They are building "two 5/6 bedroom pukka 'ouses" (I have it on good authority ... see that bloke by the digger? :heehee: )

Absolutely!! I have my memories, I have photo's and ... genuine bonus ... I've got you lot!! :heehee: Without that property/garden I would never have discovered GC. Silver linings

                                That's business! :dunno:

But you will have made one property developer and two families happy and the builders, craftsmen and manufacturers will have earned money instead of, possibly, being short of work. The local council will get more council tax and the local shops will get more business.

                                You're a benefactor to humanity!! :love30:
