The garden *is* my project!

How did i never see this thread before? my goodness what a transformation! I thoroughly enjoyed reading right through from the beginning of the thread. you've done a wonderful job M I'd love to spend an hour or two relaxing in this lovely little oasis you have created.....and playing with your chickens of course

 

I missed this thread too. Big transformation which you've clearly enjoyed. Good ideas and hard work; you've made it your space in a short time. Well done.

If Saturday marked the 2nd anniversary of getting the keys, yesterday marked the day #1 son and I moved into this property for good (Mr "M" and #2 son followed a couple of weeks later).
With @Sheal's comments fresh in my mind ...

... we thought we'd detour to see our old home.
While I didn't do a huge amount on the front garden, I had made some changes and as that would be all we'd get to see ... well, why not.

I tried to post a letter but the box was too high, so I thought I would phone home, I just could not get in, Oh well Nice/excellent garden though

 

They are building "two 5/6 bedroom pukka 'ouses" (I have it on good authority ... see that bloke by the digger? )

Absolutely!! I have my memories, I have photo's and ... genuine bonus ... I've got you lot!! Without that property/garden I would never have discovered GC. Silver linings
