Your garden still looks absolutely amazing Armandii, even though it's been left to do it's own thing for a while. :dbgrtmb:

Thanks @ARMANDII for the picture of your Iris Theatre. I can't wait to see them in flower next year :)

Do you have any Sibiricas or Chrysographes ?

and some more to give you an idea whatl lies in the borders....

This is my Acer Brilliantissimum and you can see the Clematis Armandii hanging down like
a jungle creeper. Seeing the C.Armandii flowering profusely in the Acer in January to March
              lifts the drab times.
              upload_2019-8-7_13-13-56.png

In the top left of the pic you see the C.Armandii is flowering now, there's a lot more around the tree.

There' a bit of everything in the above pic such as Osmanthus, Pampus, Rhubarb, White Buddlea, Yellow Buddlea, Leycesteria, Phlomis, Crocosmia, climbing roses, Honeysuckle, Acer, Mallow, Eryngium, and a few more and, for me, it works giving me all the mixed colours, scents and textures that bring a stupid grin to my face:heehee:

@ARMANDII - my kind of garden but rather than chaotic cottage style I'd call it happy plants growing promiscuously together. You've done wonders:)

Thank you, alana. The fact that it gives pleasure to other people is a great side benefit. Some visitors are somewhat "stunned":hate-shocked: at seeing so many plants but, when walking the narrow paths and getting brushed by foilage and flowers usually come away with a smile on their face. One of my life long friends names her garden after me as there is so many of my plants, that she has got from my garden:heehee::heehee:

@ARMANDII , I had to look up Leycesteria. I see it’s related to Honeysuckle. Can/does it suffer from mildew?
