    Planting times depend on the hardiness and flowering time of the bulbs. Late Autumn for Tulips or the begining of Winter as it reduces the risk of ,fire disease?,which wiped out an entire bed of mine ,so I was informed!!
    I plant Daffodil bulbs as soon as they become available at the G centre.

    Just been to Evesham,Twyford Blue Diamond G.Centre and bought Carlton daffs,they are enormous and �£3.99 for two dozen. ;)
