            I was reading somewhere about orchid smuggling , as recently the last 4 maltice bee orchids have been sold on the black market for £26000 , plus a reward of $46000 to find one of the rarest orchid in the world , apparently growing in europe.

            Doesn't surprise me, only way to combat something like that is to get hold of material and then propagate it on a vast scale thus making it less interesting to prats that have to have "rare plants" without caring for where it may have come from.

              you are just right , have you ever seen the pineberry ? Actually is not a new species but a rare strawberry almost exting and reintroduce to the world .

                My bee orchids aren't having a very good time this year because of the drought. Although they bloomed they were weak and small but were better than last year when it was not only drought conditions but very hot. Now this is the way they usually look.
