I had a wander round the garden today with my specs on - and realised my clematis have vanished yet again. Every year I buy nice expensive clematis from ebay and every spring I can findno trace of them. Who is stealing my clematis!! lol. Ok what is killing them off?

Not a clue Ian, but I can think of at least 4 blue ones and one very pretty white one that I put in last year... All gone. Is there a huge difference in types of clematis?

There are 3 groups of clematis,

      Group 1 early flowering (Montana)
      Group 2 large flowering
      Group 3 late flowering,

Clematis need to keep there roots cool.
I buy from ebay but I also buy from clematis nurseries

I've used Taylors very good plants, they do mail order £7.95 post and packing, sound expensive but the plants arrive in great condition
