Has anyone got any tips for getting my hoya carnosa to flower (wax flower)? It looks really healthy and is growing well. It was in full sun and looked sad and didn't flower, when I moved house a couple of years ago I put in a spot that's bright but not in direct sun it looks happy but still hasn't flowered. It gets fed with the same plant food as the rest of my plants which all seem to flower.

I've got a largish plant in, believe it or not, a 3 1/2in pot. Starvation seems to work for me.
I also grow Hoya Bella and that gets similar treatment, and that flowers 3 or 4 times a year.

Pete it may just exist for a bit longer, better pot it on ...poor thing lol..Hoyas can flower almost all year, given a bit of food warmth in Winter months.

If I pot it on it'll take over my greenhouse. Dont really know why I grow it, cant say as I like it much, the flowers drip sticky stuff everywhere and then they drop off and stick to everything. :( [IMG]

I don't think you're supposed to re-pot them until absolutely necessary, perhaps I'll just have to wait until it's pot bound. I had a hoya bella, that flowered then it died. :( I've even managed to kill a spider plant, I'm not very good with house plants I think I'm too kind to them.
