    im thinking of taking a few buckets of muck from the bottom of the local canal .

    chuck the stuff on a rased bed and plant tommatoes

    has any one tryed this

    Depends whats at the bottom of the Grand Union Canal. If it's puddling clay I don't think your toms would be very happy about it. [​IMG]

    totaly agrea wiv you there TERRIER . im not on about dragging up shopping trollys and mopeds
    a carful selection of wots going on in the water of the local canal is going to help .

    dank dark stagnant water isnt going to help
    but a vibrant groth of water veg is gonna give good clues#
