      Welcome @Lindsey faulkner

Cleared the greenhouse today and planted out and potted up the rest of the plants in there. Cleaned it all up and finally got the tomato plants in the grow bags :phew: it was hard working in such a small place. I really needed Mr. spaghetti arms :heehee:

At least the greenhouse is the only one cracking up though lol

Welcome @Lindsey faulkner  I love your hanging baskets - I've never gotten the hang of getting things to grow out of them at the sides, I'm very jealous lol

        I hope you're feeling better @Snorky85 :)

Finally got to shifting my rail pots around - I had to pick my way through two trees to get to them and came out looking like an electrocuted wookie (one day I'm going to remember to tie my stupid hair back before diving into foliage). Removed a giant weed from the middle of my poor dichondra before putting it back up, though I don't think I got all of it - I'll be on the look out for if it returns :th scifD36:

Welcome! Your garden looks lovely. Your pink and lilac colour scheme is really nice. I tried the same myself last summer and mine just looked very garish and chi-chi! Your plants look very healthy too.

It is indeed quite magical :). There are orange tips here, too. I think Commas also, not sure about Gatekeepers. There have been Red Admirals, Tortoise Shells, Common Blues and Peacocks here for a number of years and a small white butterfly. I must make a point of photographing the ones I don't recognise.

Outside at 6.30am this morning, trying to beat the worsening weather. Planted the two Phlox and a Knautia into the patio bed and the Veronica Blue Spires into a pot. Removed several Chamomile plants from a large sink planter on the patio. Although, I don't dislike Chamomile at all it does seem quite Strathclyde floppy and the pollinators have no interest in them. If I don plant them elsewhere the rabbits will eat them. Haven't decided what to put in the sink, so just topped up the level with fresh soil. Fed and watered a few dry pots. Made a start on cutting back the Hawthorne and Blackthorne growing behind the patio walls. Just did bits I could reach, will need step ladder for rest. Cleaned my seed feeders before refilling.

Hope you are recovered @Snorky85 :)

I'm still feeling rubbish-even worse than yesterday! Dave is now ill and we both ended up going back to bed this afternoon as we felt so rotten. Did ANOTHER covid test but it was negative again. I've got more medicinal supplies for tonight.

As for gardening...managed to potter about now and again. Planted out a few plants in the front (just little 9cm pots), gathered up some tools to put away but couldn't muster up the energy to actually put them away.

Peppers, cucumbers, melons and amorphophallus tubers planted into final pots for the summer.
Today pot dahlias into final pots same combination of garden soil and cheapo compost. Put up buddleja cutting for work colleague.

Awwww, sorry you're still feeling poorly @Snorky85 A heavy cold can make you feel really horrible sometimes. At least it's not covid. Hopefully you'll both feel better soon.

Aw thank you so much. I really struggle to cut through the mesh stuff. I watched a Youtube video last week and the guy just used a very thin black material which I thought was a much better idea so I think I will try doing that next year instead.

@Snorky85 I'm sorry to hear you're both down with a cold. They always seem much worse when the weather is nice. :noidea:

Been pulling grass out of the beds and pulling weeds out of the grass. It would be so much easier if it was the other way round. I'd only have the beds to weed

Since the big sprinkler system is on, I only need to make sure the greenhouse denizens keep watered. I almost feel like a lady of leisure
