Too much rain these days, my leaf clearing has to wait until they are dry again. the huge front is done, and one side of the house. So get to focus on the inside mess of my house. Things to clear out, throw out. Getting some holiday decorations around, baking some sweets. See what I can do with all that as Monday is soon upon me and back to work I go. We are heading to our government survey on the 15th and 16th, so its lots of late hours to make sure all is ready. Just inherited a house from another co-worker who resigned, and her house is in need of attention. And I "thought" she was good-ha. Had all my houses in good order. For some of you who do not now what I do for my job--I over see group homes where live mentally /physically challenging souls. Have 6 now total. On call 24/7. That also means overseeing all staff in these homes. Hoping to take a few days off this month after survey.

Yep, you reminded me, have to get down there to see if the feeders need filling. Can't see them from the house. They are down in the valley area near a gathering of shrubs for bird protection. My birds are lucky they have a running creek near there, that even in the dead of winter it is moving is spots.

Pottered about outside for a couple of hours this afternoon rearranging the outdoor pots and containers.

I have quite a few planted up to give winter colour and interest, so it was mainly just a matter of moving these to a more prominent position, or closer to the house where we can see them from indoors.

Cleaned and emptied my mini greenhouse, tidied the shed and did some potting on in there, cut down the regal pelargonium, cleaned my heated propagator and measured up for where a new little box hedge is going. :)

Dug up a dozen or so wood aven, lifted and potted up a few geraniums and a young clematis, mulched some roses/shrubs/fuschias, sunk some pots of bulbs into a bed and did some pelargonium cuttings.
Am trying them in pure perlite with a bit of bottom heat but no lid. Hopefully a few will take.
