My mum (bless her) got me some spring bulbs for Christmas. Now, the ground was frozen solid but yesterday I managed to cobble together enough pots for them to get them going. They're in the greenhouse and I plan to pop them in the borders when the weather warns up.

cleaned out all the bird feeders & the bird bath.

Bulbs are starting to sprout , slug watch on the bottom of pots in the greenhouse !! 15 in total, thats from bringing in pots to over winter. , the robin had two !! as on the lawn they all go.

Black birds are starting to pair up so a constant battle between two pairs of who's garden it is.

Gave the greenhouse glass a quick wipe over with a cloth with a cap full of bleach on.

      Enough for today

Do you think we're going to have an early spring @Spruce? I noticed quite a few birds singing at dusk yesterday and we're not out of 2014 yet. :th scifD36: :)

Funny you should say that the two local Buzzards are starting to building a nest.
And the birds look a bit more frisky than usual !!!!
I would prefer it being cold now otherwise late frosts can do so much damage

Managed to rake up some leaves from under the magnolia tree, bit slow going with only one working arm but I got there. Lots of bulbs poking out now - even have 2 tiny snowdrops in bloom

Erm, it's 2015 now though - should we be having a new thread?
