Pruned my plum tree because the branches were going up to the sky:frown: Lots of fruit but hidden by so many leaves so I've let the light in. Did lots of weeding round the borders. Cutting, snipping and weeding just about sums up the gardening for the day. The best part of the day was going to the beach and seeing family.:)

My plum tree looks like it's also reaching for the sky...

It's been hot hot here today, so I've not done much in terms of weeding or digging. However I boxed up some of the lovely bits that have grown lately, and dropped it on a friend's doorstep for her to enjoy ☺ I then made dinner & dessert, also from the crops that have been growing ATTACH=full]144465[/ATTACH] !

Runner beans today for tea. I will pick some later. They set well low down looks like a good crop which I will share with family. Lots of surprisingly juicy peaches and the usual toms on go. Gardening is a great interest. When I pass nicely maniqured new houses with coloured gravel etc, I feel sorry for them no gravel here just soil, grass, trees, large shrubs, apples, plums roses and full of wild life. Always a job to do today.

Picked another four pounds of golden plums and sold 5lb of runner beans and 6 jars of honey. It's like the garden of Eden here in Shineyland but we don't sell milk! :heehee:

I didn't know you were into bees?
Is it your honey or from some one else, are you running a farm shop. :)

Only trying to dodge them when working in the garden. :heehee:

We have someone donate them each year for our open garden. As we couldn't open this year we have been publicising it, and plants for sale, through clubs and social media. The lady that keeps bees delivered 120 jars a month ago. :dbgrtmb:

We have been able to hand over to the charity £1,800, mainly in plant sales, so far this year :hapydancsmil:

absolutely nothing done in the garden today.............

I did however buy a house with no garden work required, it's immaculate.

ok, I did a bit of weeding and watering in our current house and jet blasted the black fly off my beans.

@shiney, make sure you have some honey available at shineyland 2021, Carol loves it and I'll use some in cooking.

I've done nothing in the garden today. It's been raining for the past few days. We have no children this week :hapfeet:so I did 2 garden centres and got some goodies from the half dead section today  then had to pop to Costco and came back with 2 clematis. Needless to say I'll be burning everyone's brains out on here over the next couple of days for advice so avoid me if you can ha :th scifD36:
