    Hi Jjordie,

Have you started keeping your log of events yet? I think it's time to start to collate some evidence. I would advise you not to confront but to be sweetness and light itself. Keep as calm as you can so as you will remember everything in detail, ask him to move the car and please don't block your driveway with it again. Keep it civil, keep it simple. If you get any grief, come back inside write it up in the log.

These stories you read about start small, then the antipathy escalates into real problems. A well kept log of events to show the police should it get that far will greatly assist you and the police. If you can show a history of harrassment then they can act. Do you have a residents association there? It can be a good way to start to begin the process.

I would also advise you not to rely on neighbours, and not to discuss this matter with any of them. All it takes is one wrong word and the people responsible will be round your house in no time. No confrontational conversations, slowly, slowly, catchee monkey Jjordie.

    Good Luck.

jjordie i certainly wouldnt be very pleased that thing covering my drive so you cant get out, its illegal what hes doing, i would call the area of council that deals with these situations, parking control but before you do it i would ask him politely to not park over your drive and iff he continues call the council then you can tell them you have had a word with him nicely and hes still doing it.As pal said when he moves off i would put my car there to stop him surely he will get the message
    good luck

Oh,oh. I remember these neighbours from your previous posts. Not a good idea for confrontation(sp):( However, this person is obviously a right plonker - who on earth parks across 2 driveways! I believe it is an offence but whether the police will even be interested I don't know. What happens when you want to go out in the car & he's there? Have you ever had to ask him to move it?

People do get very territorial about parking in front of their houses, I've noticed it for many years:hehe: I even notice where I live now that although there are a few 'laybys' (sp again!) visitors will not use them and clog up the road just to save walking a few steps:scratch: One person has even had a dropped kerb put in even though the front of the house is lawned and they never use it, it just stops other vehicles parking in front of it. That's a point, have you a dropped kerb? Council laws state that you shouldn't actually 'mount' a raised kerb - I think I'm right in that although it is overlooked in most cases.

We live in an oldish street with very few garages etc, obviously built without cars in mind as it was then. Sometimes we have had to ask someone to move their car to get ours out but very rarely and never with any nastiness. That is one of the reasons we love it here, it's not new, not pretty, not expensive, but we are all considerate. Luck of the draw I guess.

I do so hope you can sort this out, it must be hell with neighbours like that. I think the point someone made about contacting the company that owns the limo (assuming it's not his own) is a good point. Bad press is taken seriously. Do you know who he works for? Just realised the other neighbour whose drive he is blocking might be his own:oops: Sorry if I've made that mistake.

    Let us know what happens.

    cheers

I don't think it is an offence to park across a dropped kerb-not 100% sure though.

He is doing it on purpose to get a reaction from you-goading you-this is typical harrassment, your pics and your evnts log will get him sorted out.
