Whats Eating My Shrubs!

    Help... Nearly all of my shrubs are being eaten alive... See pictures of example of damage. What ever it is, has also attacked my Ivy.

    All the houses around me have the same damage to their shrubs :(

    What can I do to irradicate and then protect? Please!

    Looks like caterpillar damage to me, spray the plants with a systemic insecticide.:gnthb:

    Its winter moth larvae damage, leave the plants alone, they can cope with this the larvae only needs to feed to pupate in a week or so. I dont do sprays, look at wild trees they dont die if damaged my natural predators

    We are not talking wild trees here, we are talking ornamental shrubs in domestic gardens.:gnthb:

    wild trees are the same as domesticated ones they may look ugly but thats nature they dont know if u want a pretty tree or not. It is personal choice but I would leave the tree alone
