Yes pruned that way,:dbgrtmb: it's quite tall.It looks really beautiful when the leaves appear, like a Wheeping Willow. That is just the very top of it, it's full of blooms. We have loads of Fuchsias but this is my favourite. It's not gangly looking when it leaf.:)

Sorry @Upsydaisy , I just don't get it. There's no way a Fuchsia flowers like that before it's come into growth. It looks forced and the pedicels are way too long.

Some of my Fuchsias also have flowers before the leaves after their winter rest @KFF . I don't know why, but they do. There are not as many as on @Upsydaisy 's Fuchsia but there are quite a few. I always leave them alone.
Some of my Fuchsias are already in full leaf now but others have none. They all get the same treatment and are kept in the same perspex shelter.

Likewise @Michael Hewett , ours are all cared for in exactly the same way , but this one ( and we've had a good few years now) always blooms early before it gets it's leaves. It's just the norm for this particular one.....that's all I can say. I don't even know it's name sadly, but as I said out of all of ours this is my favourite one.:)

I think they all grow in their own way according to what variety they are @Upsydaisy . I have some that come into leaf early, and some later. The same varieties do the same thing every year, it's just the way they are.
I don't know which ones of mine have flowers at the moment, They haven't opened yet and many have lost their labels anyway - that's another thing I must do this year, write new labels for them when I see the flowers.
