Thanks Verdun and Irmemac. Loki is one of my son's dogs, an American Pit Bull Terrier. He is gentle natured and was still a pup in the picture.

 

He did look young. He also looked either very thoughtful or very ashamed!

 

He was dozing on the back seat of the car on a long journey.

I put two Cleome hassleriana in my parents garden and they have been magnificent................

I like Cleome's @longk, how hardy are they please.

 

Not at all hardy I'm afraid. Dead easy from seed and very fast growing.

 

Do you find they seed very freely though longk? My main reason for not growing them so far

 

Not at all, I need to collect the seed to sow them with some protection.

These came from a butterfly and bee flower mix, nice looking flowers.

 

Hi Martin, they're Cosmos, good plants to grow as they add height and have lovely ferny foliage.
I love the pure white one.

 

Like the foliage of M Cabaret. Broader leaves than most miscanthus. A very tall miscanthus with flowers in early September
