@JWK our ginger lillies and Eucomis finished two weeks ago. Must be because of the heatwave. :noidea:

Not had much time to take photos as we have workmen in. They're redoing our patio and we have been moving pot plants around - well over 100 :rolleyespink:

These are just a few of them

It may not look like much, but I'm very pleased with my front garden - around the path. This is the 2nd year that it's been a garden as such (previously parking).

The white trailer to the right of the path was planted last year - and must have self seeded this year - you know I can't remember what it's called? Any one know?

Blackberries have finished in the early patches, elderberries almost finished everywhere, and now the fungi season has started and it's still August.

As I have now given Donna ( a much loved pond statue from my parents garden) a new home here with us I gave her a flower to hold to mark my Dad's birthday today, it would've been his 95th.IMG_20200827_111705_hdr.jpg

What looking 'ODD' in August, Hosta Purple Heart always flowers in late summer when the others have finished, this is the first one but at the same time some Nerines have shot up extra early and about to flower!
