:roflol: Yes I know it has to really..it's in a new planting spot gained from lifting the canopy so to speak of that conifer thingy but to be honest most of the plants I put in there have not flourished at all....as with the sad sunflower some have regrettably gone (or soon will go) to the great compost heap in the sky!

We plan on removing the conifer thingy next year as it drains what little moisture there is that area. The sister one was was removed earlier this year for the same reason.
I had ( have) high hopes for a Hellebore bed there.:fingers crossed:

Not really sure what to say. Did you sow them in the ground or in pots/trays?

We sowed ours late Feb/early March and put in the heated propagator. We got 100% germination. You could try putting them in the fridge for a couple of weeks, in a plastic bag, before sowing. We should have plenty of seed this year if you want some (can never guarantee it but almost certain).

Trays @shiney,and they get fluctuating heat levels too.Use to germinate OK ,but never 100%. Never tried storing the seed in the fridge before sowing so will definitely give that a go next year.
Thanks for the offer of some seed, might take you up on your kind offer.
How long do yours take to germinate please?

Sorry, can't remember. :noidea: We just stick things in the propagator, water everything and just wait.
