I think I tried that Fuchsia a few years ago, it had flowers when I bought it in spring, then grew to about 7ft tall during the summer then budded up in late October.

I think it prefers short days for flowering.

This is one of the Nicotiana sylvestris that survived from last year. It has been flowering for over a month and is now producing six flower stems further down the plant
                        P1520864.JPG

The Cobaea is really getting into it's stride and has about 20 flowers on it now
                        P1520865.JPG

We pruned back some of our Weigelia and this one has just started blooming again
                        P1520866.JPG

This Myrtle is inherited and at least 40 years old and possibly up to 60 years
                        P1520868.JPG

It's just coming into flower with a delicate scent

                        Phlox are looking good

Leycesteria formosa (As they are becoming invasive we have been cutting some back and removing others completely)
                        P1520874.JPG

This one has been cut back as it had spread between the Phormium and the Zebra grass. The Zebra grass has also been cut back as it was invading the plants in front of it.

This little Begonia " sutherlandii " self seeded about 4 years ago down by the gate. It has survived every thing the weather could chuck at it. It reappears every year and just keeps on spreading....I do nothing to it except admire...

The Rudbeckia have gone absolutely bonkers in the front garden. From a few twiggy clumps to this in a couple of months. I'm going to take some down the allotment:
