It comes to something when it is the end of February and all that I have to show is some Iris reticulata 'JS Dijt' that were kept in the greenhouse all winter!

Yeah, but that is it, everything, the absolute sum total of 2018 so far! And they were in the greenhouse. The rest of them (the colony that I moved last year and pinched these few from) have barely emerged from the ground! People don't realise how soddin' cold it is here :sick0026:

Everything comes to those who wait. Most of us are shivering at the moment, but it won't always be dark at six!

@longk not so cold here, but with the strong easterly blowing up the garden anything I could move has been tucked into the greenhouse and fingers crossed for everything else.

Some very keen hostas have popped up this week; given the weather forecast for next week I think they're going to regret it! I'm assuming/hoping they'll die off in the cold and regrow as normal again come spring?!

Same here and covered in fleece and bubble wrap just for good measure.

No need to be sorry. If it makes you feel any better you have loads about to be blasted by Siberian weather :heehee:

It is still early enough that they should put new shoots up later.
