          Yes, thanks Shiney. :) I've had my eye on them particularly the purple ones for years but have never got round to buying and planting. The handful in the pot came from my brother.

            @Sheal mine was a Christmas gift, one of those kit things, it was lovely last year. After it had finished I dumped it at the bottom of the garden and forgot about it :redface: It was a nice surprise when I saw it fighting back :)

              Spring bulbs and corms are quite resilient @Loki so I'm not surprised they came up. :) I'm trying to create a kind of woodland area in part of my garden and the Iris will add something a little different to all the low growing plants and bulbs.
