4017173E-3F83-4E14-B906-22035BBFAD60.jpeg Not the best photo in the world but the scent drove me to take it. Edgeworthia C., is related to daphne and the scent is wonderfully intoxicating.
Apart from the flowers it has beautiful foliage.
A lovely shrub...this is 4 years old and is delightful in bud from late November until flowers emerge in mid winter :)

            Lachenalia aloides...............
[IMG]Lachenalia aloides by longk48, on Flickr

The flowers started to emerge in November but by keeping them as cool as I dare I managed to put blooming off until now.

You grow so many amazing plants longk:) that is a stunner
Lachenalia aloides should grow outdoors down here and a visit to a local nursery is beckoning.

                  Good shots @strongylodon :)

Sarcoccoca has been doing very well this year but there's not a hint of any buds on our coronillas yet. :noidea: With the good weather we have had I would have thought that our coronillas and Sophora would have at least been in bud, but no sign yet. Our pink elephants are looking colourful but have gone a bit woody so we shall have to decide what to do with them.

Yep, it will. Flowering here too and if you deadhead regularly it will flower for months.
Incidentally, after the main vigorous flush of flowers ...mid summer or in autumn ......you can divide it. I prefer summer division because recovery is rapid enough to produce flowering a few weeks later:)
