It's nice seeing the Snowdrops @Spruce. We don't get cold enough to see the lovely English Winter/Spring flowers.

In a neighbour's garden rather than my own, sadly - I think it's a variety of Japenese quince? The whole bush is teeming with flowers this year, I don't remember it being so striking before.

            Almond Blossom ...

... and this is it taken a few years ago, looking down the lane you get the idea of the size. It is a pink one, so sadly bitter Almonds. :frown:

My snowdrops are in various stages of about to flower, but otherwise looking a bit bleak out there still, but my catkins are looking lovely, but no daffs yet to go with them.! The Vinka is happy and so are the Hellebores, daffs are coming and thousands of snowdrops very soon and a very lonely Kaffir Lily...

This Kniphofia is not supposed to be hardy. But it's worth a risk for flowers at this time of year.

Hi @longk it's called 'Christmas Cheer'. I suspect if I had kept it in the polytunnnel, it would have fulfilled its name! Seems to have produced a very vigorous plant.

@andrews they're great! Are they dasylirions or yucca or agave?

                      Hi CarolineL

Theres Yucca Faxoniania and two dasylirions. I'll dig out their names tomorrow as I'm really bad with plant names and its fast approaching my bedtime

Watch this space for agaves when we get to springtime - lots in the tunnel that need to be outside

Edit : @CarolineL I think they are dasylirion longissium and wheeleri

                      Andrew
