Dactylicapnos macrocapnos was Dicentra macrocapnos. This is the first time it's flowered for some years as it got badly damaged when I removed a bamboo next to it.
    Dactylicapnos macrocapnos.JPG

Lilium nepalense, yellow or green petals with that scarlet splodge in the middle, scented in the evenings. From damp forest edges in the Himalayan foothills, likes a high organic content, can be shy flowering and spreads by stolons.
    Liium nepalense.JPG

The Dutch nursery business produced this hybrid. With whiter petals, flowers more readily and more tolerant of garden cultivation. Still scented in the evenings and I think the flowers last longer. Clumps up slowly. Certainly easier in my garden than the species.

Yes still got 2 plants, I've planted one out this year and the other I've kept potted.
Both growing well but apart from just a few buds not wanting to flower atm.

My six month old cutting of a Brugmansia has opened six blooms this morning ... it already had three blooms last month.

I put this raised bed on the old driveway into the garage and I've put some colourful pots there this summer.

This morning my first bloom this year of HibisQs 'Petit Sunrise'. This is a new compact variety which I bought in October 2020 and have had difficulty with it nearly losing it completely last year. Hopefully it continues to flourish.

I had T'other Half chop the Iochroma by a good third this morning as it was tall an straggly, also the lower fronds of the Jacaranda and the Myrtus 'Tarentina' hedge ...
