@Michael Hewett, I over winter mine in the greenhouse as I get the occasional -7c and take cutting in the Spring.

 

Well some lovely photos there everyone ....... you're all very lucky as there's nothing much looking good in my Yarden at the moment to be honest. We're just not getting the sunlight required I guess. My fingers are crossed for some good weather soon ..... I'm disappointed at the moment as by this time of year I am usually pottering about and admiring the displays in my containers ...

Michael, I had Sollya heterophylla years ago but it didn't last long here in full sun.

My Sollya is in full sun but Welsh full sun isn't the same as Portuguese full sun

 

First Mongolian Giant sunflower is opening. The white thing is the garage roof side plank

The strings were for Morning Glory climbers but I had no luck at all with my seeds this year! I've since planted climbing Nasturtiums in their place but they will take some time yet before they start to climb up to the strings!

Looking good @Balc .....I bet it brings a lot of cheer to all your neighbours and the people passing by along the street.

 

It's looking very interesting, it must give you so much pleasure and I bet people passing by enjoy looking at it

 

That is choc-o-bloc full of colour @Balc and it is not yet in full bloom. Wonderful. Also you are in a good position being the end apartment.

 

One question @Balc .
Do you have to have the lights on all day.
