It must have read your thoughts and decided it had better start flowering :snork:. Yours is a smaller and more open leafed version but it looks as though it will now be a good one. Ours has green leaves whereas yours has slightly silvery leaves (we have on of those as well). I have found that the more silvery leafed ones tend to have a more open look and the green are more compact.

Just a few more quick snaps around the garden (note to self:- clean the lens :nonofinger:)

The Thalictrum has only reached to about 10ft high this time

@Verdun It's the Madeira Orchid and should be hardy throughout most of the country, and especially in Cornwall.

That plant is in the Lakeland Horticultural Society garden in the Lake District. They had loads of them there :dbgrtmb: I'm going to try and get one (or more :snork:) for our garden.

Beth Chatto have them priced at £20 :hate-shocked: but don't have them in stock :phew:. A packet of seed seems more our scene :snork: but they're difficult to grow. They're recommended to be sown directly into the garden - and wait, a year or more (if you're lucky :rolleyespink:).
