Recently been planting up the front right of the this border, I put the lupin in a few weeks ago, you can just see Ligularia Brit marie crawford I planted the other day and astrantia snow star at the front with salvia caradonna behind. I am after some agapanthus to go where the maroon aquilegia is.

I am sure I've lost some alliums this year, I've dug up a few rotten bulbs recently. I must invest in more alliums this year :)

We're weeks behind most of the posters here so most of my stuff isn't in flower but I still appreciate my mostly green buddies. The first is my peppers in the greenhouse and the rest are familiar to everyone :) 1528043336324.jpg 1528043410755.jpg 1528043509360.jpg

This Magnolia is a long flowering variety. It started in April and usually keeps going until July. At it's best mid May

A standard height Thalictrum. There's also a variety that grows very tall - up to 12ft. I'll take a photo when it flowers.

@shiney - sorry, but this is the kind of netting that traps hedgehogs. I`ve seen it tangle one who lost his leg because of it.[IMG]

Shiney thank you mate but for several years now I've brought the false round ones because although mine was watered well the heat still burnt them out and it broke my heart and this year fetched down 5 false ones which went to the skip and brought new purple ones for all round but thank you again as that's a lovely thought and much appreciated :)
