:wub2: Mine is doing a slow start settling in but looks fresh.

Do you ever get pods from the blue Iochroma australis or does the season go before they seed?

Actually it self seeds all over the place so I tend to give it a light,( or if its getting too big), hard prune after flowering.

You have beaten me to it, I have one just opening some flowers as well.
Its surprising how easy the flowers can be to overlook.

The tub is 30cm diameter. Also measured the cycas, it is just under 50 cm tall - only a baby compared to yours @Victoria

Yes, in previous years I've planted it in the garden then repotted in autumn for over-wintering. I am wondering if that is harming it's root development so decided to leave it in the pot as an experiment.

Do you think it stands a chance outside permanently?
I planted out my Furcraea last week, too heavy to get under cover any more and it had survived 2 winters much to my surprise, especially the winter before last which I thought was a real killer in February.
