        I've seen quite big ones left outside around here that seem ok. I have tried mine in an unheated greenhouse and it looked very tatty come the spring so I think a smaller one like mine would be borderline outside.

        I tried a big furcraea outside and it died. I've risked planting another one in a more sheltered spot to see if it survives. Have you ever got one to flower?

            That is surprising, as old as mine is and as much as it flowers most of the year, I have never had self seeding.

                First time growing Camassia ,much loved by Monty and Carol.
                They have verigated spiked leaves and lovely but to short lived for me ,I think they need damp soil.

                  Another first time growing for me ,Eremurus (Foxtail Lily).
                  A huge 2mtr. Hardy perennial , I just wish I had more. Bees love it.
