    @CarolineL I have a note that it will take a fair degree of cold, but needs well drained soil as it doesn't like damp. Longstock Gardens have it as needing protection below -10°C. Mine has had hardly any cold weather since I got it in spring 2018.

        @KFF

        My Pyracantha did zilch this year except grow a new shoot. I just said yesterday I will remove it and put Lonicera Tatarica in its place (soaking seeds now). My Abutilon is not blooming yet! My Solanum blooms year round on the Arbour. Love that Hemerocallis, so graceful!

          My Abutilon is one of the plants that have gone a bit doolallly this year, it's been having the odd small flower since December but this is the first nice large one.

              I was thinking of doing that as I forgot to cut one of mine back so it's going straight up. Perhaps we could compare in a couple of months time :)

                Many years ago when I lived on the Isle of Wight, I saw a fantastic one at Ventnor Botanical Gardens and have wanted one ever since.

                            All these shots were taken in the evening :noidea: Some flowers are just starting to show.

                            These are self-seeded. The nodding grasses are 'flowering' well and are good in flower arrangements

                                A few taken just now. Both lupins are in pots for now. The purple one has been for a couple of years, the red one is new this year. They’ll go in the garden eventually..... when I find space:biggrin:
